About Us
Welcome to Picasso in Paris! We are a passionate team of artists, directors, and creatives dedicated to bringing powerful stories to the stage.

OUR VISION
At Picasso in Paris, we believe art has the power to resist oppression, inspire hope, and provoke meaningful conversation. This original musical explores the inner life of Pablo Picasso during the Nazi occupation of Paris, immersing audiences into the most consequential period of the 20th century to reflect on the moral choice of Courage for Peace in times of crisis. Our goal is not only to entertain but to challenge, elevate, and engage with peoples across cultures and generations for the cause of Peace.
THE STORY BEHIND THE SHOW
This project began with a remarkable discovery: a painting, rumored to have been created by Picasso in secret during the Occupation. That work of art ignited years of international research and creative development. From its origin in a quiet moment of artistic defiance, Picasso in Paris has grown into a bold theatrical experience that fuses history, music, and emotional truth.
Concept Overview
Why Picasso? Why Now?
Picasso was more than a painter—he was a witness to history. Picasso in Paris tells the story of a man forced to choose between survival and resistance, silence and truth. In an era where censorship, authoritarianism, rising antisemitism, and disinformation are on the rise, this story, his story has never felt more urgent.

Where We Are in Development
The musical has completed its script, score, and orchestrations. After multiple table reads and music presentations, we recently held a live concert at 54 Below in NYC featuring a professional Broadway cast. We are now moving toward a 29-hour reading and a full developmental workshop in preparation for commercial production.
